According to new information surfaced by reliable Apple leaker Sonny Dickson, the tech giant’s future plans are quite remarkable. Apple’s New Roadmap Revealed: iPhone Fold is Coming
According to the roadmap, Apple will officially unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the long-awaited iPhone Fold (Ultra) models in September of this year (2026). The standout device of this presentation is undoubtedly the company’s first foldable phone. Expected to offer a significantly different structure compared to its competitors, this foldable device is currently the primary focus for tech enthusiasts.
Apple’s first foldable model is being developed with a special technological infrastructure designed to completely eliminate the screen crease. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that this device will feature advanced multitasking capabilities, such as running two different applications side-by-side simultaneously. The phone will house two cameras on its rear surface and will hit the market with a wider design compared to current foldable models.
Hardware Details and Future Outlook
Notably, instead of Face ID, this new device will feature a Touch ID fingerprint sensor integrated into the side button. Given its high-end hardware, the iPhone Fold is expected to be a premium luxury item, with estimated prices in Turkey exceeding 200,000 TL.
Following the massive September event, the company will pivot to different models in March 2027. According to the leaks, Apple will showcase the iPhone 18e, the standard iPhone 18, and the iPhone Air 2, which is expected to draw attention with its ultra-slim chassis.
